Prepare Surfaces
- Fill any large holes
- Sand rough spots
- Remove sawdust
- Cut facing to allow

Application
Band-It wood veneer is available in your choice of the 3 backing options show below.
NOTE: Band-It melamine facing only available with iron-on backing.

Peel n Stick
(Wood veneer only)
- Peel release paper 1/4" along longest edge
- Position and lightly smooth while removing remaining release paper

Iron On
(Wood veneer and Melamine)
- Preheat iron to cotton (400 degrees)
- Use kraft paper or aluminum foil to protect iron
- Slowly iron over veneer to activate adhesive

Paper-Backed
(Wood veneer only)
- Apply contact adhesive to both surfaces
- Allow both surfaces to dry thoroughly and carefully position veneer

Bonding
- Smooth surface with a plastic smoothing blade, hand roller, or rolling pin
- Follow the direction of the grain
- Press firmly to tighten bond and remove air bubbles
|
Finishing
- Trim excess with a utility knife, router or file
- Sand wood veneer smooth with fine sand paper or steel wool
- Let bond set for 24 hours
- Finish as desired
NOTE: Melamine is prefinished ... no need to sand or finish
